Voice Studio/Instruction

Singing should be fun and allow wonderful expression from within, but without correct vocal technique, a singer will be limited and could experience vocal damage.

I teach my students in a private, comfortable studio setting where students learn correct singing technique for healthy vocal development.

Any student seeking voice lessons should expect their singing instructor to possess deep knowledge of vocal anatomy, human physiology, and how the body works to produce sounds.

Upon learning correct vocal technique, the student can apply these skills to any style of singing, and be confident that they are singing in a healthy way so they may continue to enjoy the expression of song throughout their life.

Developing proper singing technique is not just for advanced vocalists. Learning to sing, from a trained vocal instructor, even at the earliest stages provides a solid foundation for a lifetime of song.

Any teacher of voice should also be an experienced performer in addition to knowing vocal anatomy.

I am extremely proud of the many students who I have worked with over the years who have had successful auditions for musical theatre and operatic roles in the Monadnock Region and New England Area.

Preparing students who receive high audition ratings for festivals such as New England Music Festival (NEMFA) and NH All-State Chorus (NHMEA) is a rewarding part of my work as a voice teacher. College bound students have been accepted at well known institutions such as Berklee College of Music, Hartt College of Music, Smith College, Yale University, and many colleges in New England including degree programs and Summer intensive programs for classical voice and musical theatre.
